Review By Ridge

Banshee are kind of a remake of the old Arcade/Commodore 64 game 1942. Everything is improved and Banshee looks with the AGA graphics. A very few extra weapons is also added and larger bosses. The game is as good as most high-quality arcade shooters and is well programmed. The sound is also nice and you can hear many different samples on what you fire on like metal klank wgile shooting a metal bridge etc..There is even a layer with fogging which loooks nice. Banshee is maybe the best shooter on Amiga ever, but if you don't care about the look there is other shooters like Xenon 2, Hybris, Wings of Death, Lightforce etc. with equal gameplay. There is a 2 player mode so you can play with a friend at the same time on one screen. The bad thing about the games is that it don't save high-scores and that suck bigtime. This game is still very good and  should be owned by all CD32 users.
