Nintendo did it again when they released Zelda 3 on SNES in 1992. That game became legendary for the extremly fun gameplay and the good and now famous music. Zelda 3 had the look of Zelda 1 on NES, but had new story, Sound, Music, GFX and mode 7 gfx effects. I bought when it came and played through the whole game. :) When Nintendo make a game they do not only make good first impression, but make the games so it gets better the more you play it to keep gamers interrested until the end. There is not many developers that know how to do that. That suck, but since Nintendo are licencing out titles to 3rd parties nowadays on Game Cube we get a huge amount of these good games because Nintendo are watching them.

Anyway.. Speris Legacy is based on Zelda 3 and have a nice look, but is not half that good. It's not even CD32 enhanced, but you can save the game to NVRAM thou. The music is modules only and is good in the beginning, but you get tired of them because they are too repetitive. This do of course partially harm the gameplay. The controls are as it should and the sound is ok. The game is just another Zelda clone, but there is not too many of them and 2 of them are on CD32 including the other one which is Legends and is CD32 enhanced btw. Still Speris Legacy is among the better ones and is Amiga and CD32 exclusive. Binary Emotions announced that they for sure would release Speris Legacy 2 some years ago, but that never happened. That suck because it may have been improved and even CD enhanced. I can stil lrecommend this adventure game as it's probably among the 20-30 best games on the console.
